PiSky — An open-source, modular sky-observation platform for Raspberry Pi. One Pi can run an all-sky camera, hyperlocal weather station, and local ADS-B aircraft tracker independently or together, with a self-hosted admin dashboard and public station pages. Built on Allsky, with a Bookworm installer, a read-only public data API, and no dependency on hosted third-party services.

PiSky turns a single Raspberry Pi 4 or 5 into a private backyard observatory. It unifies three previously separate hobbies — all-sky imaging, weather monitoring, and local aircraft tracking — into one modular platform with a unified installer and a liquid-glass admin interface.

Enable any combination of capabilities: continuous all-sky camera capture with nightly timelapses and a searchable archive; hyperlocal weather from Open-Meteo or a local WeeWX-connected station; and live local ADS-B decoding from an RTL-SDR or Mode-S Beast receiver, rendered on an animated radar scope — no FlightAware, Flightradar24, or internet connection required for aircraft tracking to work.

The public-facing side is also non-technical so station owners can run their own public presence without complicated setup or configurations.
